WHAT THE FLYING FUCK?! Drew just called and told me that Bhurma, the woman who owns this condo that we are supposedly buying, is going to be showing it every weekend from 2pm to 3pm. Um, we signed a year lease and they are trying to sell it from under us while we haven't even been here for a week?! WTF?! I am so beyond pissed right now. What's the point in unpacking? I fucking hate this! I knew it was too good to be true that I had such a pretty place to live. I am beyond livid right now...

1. I met her by asking the question, "Should I listen to Mandy Moore or Britney Spears" and she didn't harp at me for loving Brit.
2. She's the best friend a girl could ask for.
3. When life gives her lemons, she makes sure the lemon juice gets right in Scoot's eye.
4. She's always there with awesome words of advice for me.
5. She has a celeb "girlfriend", too.
6. She's a teenybopper at heart, too.
7. Understands my love for Gilmore girls because she's just as crazy for it
8. She may disappear for a few days with no word, but when she comes back, she floods my inbox with emails!
9. Our crazy phone calls.
10. She sends me my favorite monkey in the mail!
Thank you,
circle_daybreak, for the surprise Curious George package. It completely brightened my day!
Explanation: I got home from my interview at Spherion yesterday and looked in my mailbox to find a post office doorknob hanger summoning me to the post office for a parcel. I was thinking maybe it was from my Dad but then I thought, "He's in jail, what the heck could he be sending me? Hand cuffs?! Sorry, Dad, I already got a pair!" lol. Then, I thought maybe my sister Sam sent me some book that she thought was her gospel.
I got upstairs and for the first time since I met him, Drew was home before 7pm on a Friday night. I told him about the parcel and he said I should wait until the next morning to go get it because it was probably from the collection's agency summoning me to court...I started freaking out and he reluctantly came with me to the post office (after we stopped off at Block Buster...we're having a Steve Carrol weekend. 40 year old virgin, season 1 of the office and because Drew wanted me to open up the floodgates - That way I don't end up crying for no good reason - AI), where I got this manila envelope. Confused, I looked at the address label on the envelope to find Jackie's name.
A huge smile spread across my face as I opened the envelope to find 2 Magnet bookmarks, stamps and stationary - all with Curious George on them! I love that friendship still means the same thing to her that it does to me.
Not saying that receiving gifts from each other makes a good friend, I meant that she walked through a store and that reminded her so much of me that she wanted to share it. That's friendship. Crystal does it all the time, too. She'll call and say, "Hey, I'm standing in front of this and it reminded me of you." It's hard to explain but if you understand, that makes me really happy. :)
As do you, Jackie. Love you, babe!

Being a bad girl isn't about breaking the law. It's about breaking the rules - and respecting yourself in the morning. It's about pushing back, pushing the envelope, and pushing yourself to new limits. It's about not being afraid to use your head, your heart, or your honey pot to get what you want.
A bad girl is you at your uncensored best - whoever you are, whatever your style. Finding your badness requires nothing more than an easy attitude adjustment. To dial it up, just lock and load these power phrases in your mind:
"I rule!"
"I rock!"
"I know what I want and how to get it!" (or at least how to have fun trying!)
Remember: Being a bad girl isn't about getting more stuff, it's about getting satisfaction
Admit it, you want more satisfaction. Now get specific. What makes you feel alive? What makes you thrive? What gets your motor running? Write your immediate responses here (don't think, sweetcakes, just emote onto the page):

Main characters: Nia, Emlyn, Gwyn and Alun
What I liked best: It captured my attention and kept it before I had time to second think my decision of reading it in the first place.
What I liked least: I think the author has issues beginning a story because everytime I start a book by her, I have to read the first two pages again because I feel like a I missed a chunk. This book is: for preteens 12-15

Favorite characters: Lola
Least favorite Characters: n/a
When and Where the story takes place: London, England
Plot in a nutshell: I totally judged a book by it's cover. It's a cute pink book with all these tips and such for preteen girls going through that phase where they are not sure who they are.
Main characters: Lola, Sadie, Angel and Bella
What I liked best: It had some good tips to make mini bad girls and as in seeing that I'm a grown up bad girl, I would allow my daughter to read it. Also, Bella is from America and a lesbian...so kudos.
What I liked least: Some of the things she wrote about my Mother would've yelled at me for doing...so unless you want to be a real brat, don't take this book too seriously.
Overall rating: That is the last time I buy anything because it's pink and sparkly.

Ah, July already. This is my favorite month. It's because July is the only month that is full summer with no interruptions, that way it's not cold at all and I lurve that. I love summer and the more I have it, the more I like it. Also, other than my Dad's birthday at the end of the month, I don't have to think about presents or anything at all...it's nice...
Yesterday, we went to Heritage Park with my Mom and my sister. Scarlett was loud as usual and causing havoc on my arm. I had red marks all over it because everytime I said something that she didn't like, she smack my arm. It hurt like a bitch. I got her back at one point though. We were in the girl's room and there was this drinking fountain attached to one of the sinks, so I asked her how she used it and when she turned the water tap on, I splashed her in the face with the water. It was so fucking funny!
We had lunch at the Wainwright Hotel, bought candies from the general store, had ice cream at the ice cream shoppe, also went on the whip and the ferris wheel...ooh and the train and the boat! It was so fantastical! I haven't had that much fun at Heritage Park in such a long ass time.
I'm scared to see how many calories I had yesterday...oy! I'm exercising today! :P
